Overview

Cabozantinib (S)-Malate is a small-molecule, multi-targeted receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) inhibitor. It works by blocking specific key enzymes and receptors involved in cancer cell growth and blood vessel formation, primarily VEGFR-1, -2, -3, MET, and AXL. By inhibiting these target pathways, it suppresses tumor angiogenesis (the growth of new blood vessels supplying the tumor), reduces cellular proliferation, and helps prevent the progression and metastatic spread of cancer cells.

Indication

CABOZANTINIB is indicated for the treatment of patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC) who have received prior anti-angiogenic therapy.
