Therapeutic Class:

Sevelamer is a phosphate binder. Its primary therapeutic role is to lower and control high blood levels of phosphorus (hyperphosphatemia).

Indication:

For:

  • primarily indicated for controlling serum phosphorus levels in adults and children (6 years and older) with chronic kidney disease (CKD) who are on dialysis.
